PracticeIQ · Practice management
Every matter in one place, connected to your research.
PracticeIQ runs the life of a matter: a permanent matter code, deadlines a person confirms, research and drafts on the matter and, planned, mail linked to the right matter and a ledger of the AI costs each matter incurs.
Matters, matter codes, confirmed deadlines, matter import and the link to LexIQ are built and running on our test server. Research, drafts and documents, members and roles, firm settings and month and week calendar views are also built on the test server. Mail linked to matters is planned for early 2027; calendar and mail sync is not yet connected to a real Microsoft 365 tenant. PracticeIQ is not yet available to firms.
How you reach PracticeIQ. PracticeIQ is the one application you sign in to. LexIQ, CodexIQ and AegisIQ are reached through it, so there is one sign-in, one matter context and one place for your firm's settings. Sign-in, with its second step, runs on our test server; firms get accounts when invited trials open.
Capabilities
What PracticeIQ does.
Each capability is marked with where it stands: built and in alpha testing, in development, or planned.
-
Built, in alpha testing
Matters at the centre
Parties, team, status, archive and matter-level access. Each matter carries a permanent code that LexIQ shares, so research and practice stay on the same matter.
-
Built, in alpha testing
Deadlines a person confirms
Deadlines and their history live on the matter. Deadlines suggested by AI are only suggestions until a person confirms them.
-
Built, in alpha testing
Bring your existing matters
Import matters from the system you use today. Every import runs as a dry run first, never widens who can see a matter, and adds nothing twice when run again.
-
In development
Calendar and mail, linked to matters
Microsoft 365 calendar and mail, linked to a matter by a person or by rules. Only matter-linked items are ever made available to research. The month and week calendar views are built; the connection to Microsoft 365 is being built and tested, and no firm's account is connected yet.
-
Planned
AI cost ledger per matter
See what AI-assisted research and drafting cost on each matter, drawn from the platform's metering rather than estimates.
-
Built, in alpha testing
Research and drafting on the matter
Research, drafts and documents screens that work on LexIQ for the matter and keep every draft against it, with sign-off before export.
-
Built, in alpha testing
Members, roles and firm settings
The firm administrator adds people, sets firm and matter roles and runs the firm's confidentiality, consent and retention settings, with a second sign-in step for every change.
Who it is for
Built for the people who carry the risk.
PracticeIQ owns the matter and its code; LexIQ does the research and drafting for it. The two work together with each person's own permissions carried on every request.
-
Small and mid-sized firms
One place for matters, deadlines and correspondence, without stitching tools together.
-
Practice managers
See matters, deadlines and AI costs firm-wide, with access set matter by matter.
-
Firms changing systems
Bring matters across with a dry run you can check before anything is written.
Roadmap
Where PracticeIQ is heading.
Dates are planning targets and can move. "Done" means built and tested by us in development or on our test server; it does not mean generally available. Nothing on this roadmap is generally available yet. Last updated 25 Oct 2026.
